Chelsea & Jose Mourinho apologize and settle with Dr Eva Carneiro after she threatened to expose embarrassing texts and emails

Jose Mourinho and Chelsea football club have ended the employment tribunal case with ex-Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro, after agreeing on a settlement package with the doctor, just minutes before she was to climb the witness stand and expose embarrassing texts and emails sent by Jose Mourinho to her after alleging that Mourinho called her ‘daughter of a whore’ in Portuguese and also told her she should work for Chelsea Ladies FC and not the male football team. A deal between Jose Mourinho and Dr Eva Carneiro was done in a back corridor of the court after Mourinho begged her and Chelsea then issued a statement saying it ‘regretted the circumstances’ which led to former club doctor leaving and ‘apologises unreservedly to her and her family for the distress caused’.
