View photos ‘Am I Going to Have to Evacuate?': Kardashian-Jenners React to Blazing 500-Acre Fire in Calabasas| Real People Stories, Ellen DeGeneres, Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner Approximately 5,000 people were evacuated, and three buildings damaged or destroyed, after a 500-acre fire was sparked in Calabasas, California, on Saturday, authorities said.  However, no injuries have been reported, deputy Mike Baraza, a Los Angeles sheriff’s spokesman, tells PEOPLE.  The 516-acre blaze, named “Old Fire,” has been 30 percent contained, according to the latest Sunday morning update from the Los Angeles County Fire Department.  According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the fire was sparked Saturday afternoon – about 4:15 p.m. local time on Mulholland Highway in Calabasas – after, witnesses said, a pickup truck drove into a power pole, knocking the transformer to the ground and causing it to explode.  One “commercial-type” building was destroyed in the fire while two residences took minor damage, according to the fire department.
